Suspected Explosive Device Found
Thursday, July 29, 2010

State Route 220 in Taylor Township, at the intersection light of Port Matilda and Bald Eagle, was closed for several hours yesterday after a suspected explosive device was found. A road construction employee found two suspicious pipes in the grass next to the road about 100 feet apart. The State Police Bomb Squad and the Penn State Police Bomb Squads worked together to determine that the pipes were not explosive in nature. Both lanes, north and southbound, at the Port Matilda/Bald Eagle intersection were closed for two hours for public safety.

How do you feel about the extreme temperatures this summer?
I love the heat;
bring it on!
I don't mind it.
It's a little too
warm for me.
Urgh, I hate it!
Bring on the snow!
